Roll center height

Hi,

I am using the linear 3-DOF suspension model. Please can you explain where/how I can specify the roll center height? How does CarMaker capture it?

Thanks,
Mo

I also have the same question. Hopefully someone will help provide an answer

Roll center height is not something that one can specifies, but rather is something that is calculated from the suspension geometry.

In CarMaker the Kinematic Model captures the geometry of the suspension in an abstract way. The Linear 3 DOF is perhaps too simple to capture a complex behavior of a suspension. I will suggest using an SKC file instead generated. You can start by using some of the example skc files that we have, such as Examples/DoubleWishbone_Front.skc. Otherwise you can use different tools to generate the required information, for example IPGKinematics.
