Where is the origin of FR1(default in carmaker) coordinate system w.r.t to the rear axle of the car? Or any other refernce according to which the origin is defined. Could anyone please help me figure this out?
It’s at the rearmost point of the vehicle (typically the bumper), on the ground.
As an extra bit of information on top of @lenny answer.
- x-axis: Points in driving direction of the vehicle
- y-axis: Points 90 deg to the left side of the x axis
- z-axis: Points upwards vertically
