Multi-lap Simulation with Formula CarMaker Track

Hello!

I am currently working on validating a few parameters through IPG CarMaker and the Formula CarMaker package provided for the LTS competition for FSUK.

One of the parameters that needs to be validated will require the vehicle to run the full endurance length. I have been trying to look into looping the provided sprint track for 22 laps, but I wasn’t successful at it.

Is there a specific tool that I have to use to create and edit a new route between the finish point and the starting point for the IPG driver to follow? Or is it just done through the scenario editor?

the trick to loop the lap is to create a direct junction between the start and end point (assuming both the start and the end point are the same). This can be achieved in the scenario editor. After this, just create a route.

With this, your simulation can be run for multiple laps. I am sure you will also find some example roads that is delivered along with the installation packet with this feature.
