HIL.exe not functioning

Hello there,

I received my updated license for IPG CarMaker yesterday. When I started using the CarMaker again and tried to load the road (.rd5) file, I keep getting the “HIL.exe not functioning issue”.

Could you please guide me how to resolve this issue?

Hi Swati,

Please confirm:

  1. do you have CM office or HIL license?
  2. Try to run CM demo testrun, is that have same issue?
  3. Do you have admin rights on host pc?

Hello Deepak,

  1. I have a CarMaker non-commercial license.
  2. The CM Demo test run gives me a below issue. Please access the below link for seeing the error image.

  3. I am not sure of Administrator rights. However, I know that the CarMaker was working perfectly before a couple of months. I recently got a new license and I am seeing that I am not able to see the IPG movie.
