Decoupled Suspension in IPG Kinematics - Formula Student

Hi!

I have been trying to replicate my Formula Student vehicle’s decoupled suspension. I see there’s no direct model integrated into IPG Kinematics for this. For now, I’ve modeled the heave system and performed calculations to find an equivalence between our roll stiffness and a corner damper + ARB setup, but this limits the range of roll stiffness we can simulate. Our real-life roll stiffness is actually lower than the minimum achievable value of roll stiffness value in IPG with the current heave setup and added ARB. I thought about affecting a negative ARB value, but this seems like a weird practice and perhaps not optimal (I need some more info on this).

I was wondering if anyone has experience with modelling decoupled suspensions in IPG Kinematics? I need some advice for this. Or if IPG plans on integrating a base model for formula student teams? Thank you!
