Prior to downloading carmaker, I was unaware that the ROS would be in Linux; resulting in me obtaining a windows license. I am using virtual box on my computer in order to use ROS, will I be able to change the license I currently have into the Linux version?
Is there any alternative solution that IPG offer?

Welcome to the forum.
Your first option is to request a Linux license.
Your second option is to launch the Virtual Box with the same MAC address and the same hostname as your Windows. Might require a bit of tweaking on your end to make this work.
